Hi there, Can you please tell me the pressure setting of injectors? Thoses working for bosh tells 240 bar, thoses working for volvo penta tells 260, I tried 240 bar, the engine smokes a lot, i find gasoil in the surface of the sea after running the engine. I did not try 260 bar yet, I m realy confised Thank you. My engine is Tamd41a

Hello Sven, I have a question that I would like to hear if you can answer for me. I have to remove the diesel injector pump on a Volvo Tamd 41b, year 1990. When I dismantle this pump, does the cam wheel / pulley need to be fixed? I have seen that a Timing Tool Kit for Landrover is avible. Is there anything similar for Volvo? Or how do you do it? Hi - is there an external oil supply line to the rocker shaft on this model?

Hi - new to diesels.. Have a TAMD41A that doesnt seem to be getting oil up at the rocker shaft, but has good oil pressure. Is there an oil line that feeds the rocker shaft on this model? How would I check why oil is not getting up there? Thanks

I am having issues with my Volvo KAMD 300 engine (450hrs) which appears to be producing a lot of steam at the exhaust and the temperature is also going up a bit. We have checked all of the usual raw water culprits (no change). We have also just had the injectors serviced and they are about to be re-installed. If that doesn’t fix it, could a faulty aftercooler cause these symptoms?
